Amir Mohammed Dermoumi, an 18-year-old from Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2017. According to reports, Dermoumi was sitting in a car near the intersection of Truxton Avenue and Portsmouth Boulevard when he was shot in the upper body. The driver of the car attempted to flee the scene but crashed into two parked vehicles a few blocks away. Dermoumi was pronounced dead at the scene, and another person in the vehicle was injured.
