On February 20, 2025, Donovan Leander St. Juste, a 22-year-old male from Roanoke, Virginia, was fatally shot in an incident that took place on Laconia Avenue NE. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:41 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered St. Juste suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
