On June 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Roanoke, Virginia, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Dontae R. Muse. The Roanoke Police Department initially responded to reports of a vehicle crash in the 2400 block of Cornell Drive NW at approximately 7:20 PM. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a shed. Inside the vehicle, they found Muse unresponsive with a critical gunshot wound.
