In the late hours of March 2, 2025, a visit to friends in Milwaukee turned tragic for 33-year-old Cory Fritz, a White male from the Appleton area. Near the intersection of 43rd Street and Good Hope Road on the city's northwest side, what prosecutors would later describe as a drug deal that escalated into a setup unfolded.
