On the evening of August 14, 2019, 18-year-old Maurice Grimes was found shot and killed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A citizen alerted police to a gunshot victim in a vehicle near 7th and Pierce at approximately 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they discovered Grimes in the driver's seat of an SUV with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy later confirmed his death as a homicide.
