On April 8, 2025, 18-year-old male Chase Donovan Feaster, an African American resident of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, was tragically killed in a mass shooting that occurred during an attempted illegal gun sale and robbery in the Olde Greenwich Circle neighborhood near Fredericksburg.
