In the quiet community of Sumter, South Carolina, a disagreement between two acquaintances escalated into a fatal encounter on a Tuesday evening. Christopher Abrams, a 56-year-old man, was fatally shot on January 14, 2025, following a physical altercation. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the vicinity of Brent and Whitehorse streets.
