DiQuon Jadar Morgan, a 24-year-old resident of Sumter, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 27, 2015. The incident occurred when Eugene Martin, 22, was showing a semi-automatic handgun to a group of friends at a home on Bowman Drive. According to reports, Martin was demonstrating the firearm when it accidentally discharged, striking Morgan. Despite being rushed to Tuomey Regional Medical Center, Morgan succumbed to his injuries.
