In the quiet, early morning hours of Sunday, January 10, 2021, in Sumter, South Carolina, the life of 21-year-old Kayuan Mytrell Daniels was tragically cut short. Just before 4 a.m., officers from the Sumter Police Department responded to calls of shots fired on Bultman Drive near Walton Drive. Upon their arrival, they discovered a vehicle in the roadway that had been struck by gunfire. Inside, they found the driver, Kayuan Daniels, suffering from gunshot wounds.
