In the summer of 2016, the life of 62-year-old Caucasian female Kathleen Ploutz came to a tragic and violent end. On July 18, 2016, her body was discovered by National Park Service rangers in the scenic yet desolate landscape of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, specifically near Boulder Basin.
