Javlin Everette De’Angelo Dawkins, an 18-year-old African American male from Spartanburg, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on March 29, 2025, in Gaffney, South Carolina. The incident occurred outside the Limestone Courts apartments on North Limestone Street, where Dawkins was standing in the parking lot when he was shot. Emergency responders transported him to Cherokee Medical Center in Gaffney, but he was later pronounced dead.
