In the early hours of May 10, 2020, a dispute over a minor traffic incident in Gaffney, South Carolina, escalated into a fatal encounter that ended the life of 30-year-old Andre Rashard Gregory. Witnesses reported that Gregory and another man were engaged in a verbal argument after a vehicle was sideswiped. The confrontation tragically culminated in Gregory being shot and killed on West Robinson Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.
