On October 13, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in downtown Gaffney, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Tyler O'Bryan Littlejohn. The shooting took place in the Limestone Square parking lot shortly before 2 a.m. According to the Cherokee County Coroner's Office, Littlejohn was shot multiple times while standing outside a vehicle.
