On Friday, November 8, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Gaffney, South Carolina, resulting in the death of 37-year-old Nigel Phillips. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on 3rd Avenue shortly before noon. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Phillips inside the home, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
