Sencedrick Antonio Barham Jr., an 18-year-old male from Fayetteville, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2025. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill on Skibo Road, where Barham was fatally shot. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire just before 5 p.m., discovering Barham with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following the shooting, law enforcement officials began gathering evidence and seeking information from witnesses. Witnesses described the suspects as wearing hoods and leaving in a silver Altima or Kia. The investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Caleb Dante Chambers, who was charged as an accessory after the fact of first-degree murder. According to court documents, Chambers allegedly assisted the unidentified shooter by driving them away from the scene and attempting to remove fingerprint and DNA evidence from the vehicle. Barham was a recent graduate of E.E. Smith High School and had aspirations of attending Fayetteville Technical Community College to study business and entrepreneurship. Funeral services were scheduled for March 6, 2025, at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with a public viewing held the day prior.
