Johnny Tyrod Davis, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on October 12, 2005, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred in an apartment on Dwelle Drive in the Topeka Heights subdivision around 5 a.m. Davis had been visiting a woman who lived at the apartment where he was shot. The authorities classified the incident as a domestic-related homicide.
