Markus Richard Samples, a 19-year-old male from Hope Mills, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2022. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot outside the Travelodge motel on Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville. The Fayetteville Police Department identified Markus as the victim of this fatal shooting, which occurred in the early hours of the morning.
