Samuel Trey Fedrick III, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 19, 2015, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a drug buy that escalated into a robbery at the home of John Jacob Sierra, a 38-year-old military veteran and father of four. Evidence presented in court revealed that Fedrick was shot during the altercation, and his body was subsequently found three days later in the trunk of his car, which was parked on North Platte Road.
