Marquez Melvin, a 19-year-old male from Fayetteville, NC, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2021. He was killed during a home invasion in the 1100 block of Charlie Drive near Murchison Road. The incident occurred early in the morning when at least one man forcibly entered the duplex and began shooting.
