Carlos Runquiz Whitted, a 40-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 10, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Lawndale Street, where deputies responded to a shooting just after 7:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Carlos Runquiz Whitted with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
