Van Anthony Cooper, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2021, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 300-block of South Cool Spring Street, where he was found with gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Van Cooper succumbed to his injuries.
