On the evening of May 2, 2025, Larisha Sharell Thompson, a 40-year-old mother of two from Lancaster, South Carolina, was driving to a friend's house. Her family lost contact with her, prompting a search that ended in a tragic discovery on Riverside Road. Thompson was found inside her 2021 Honda Accord, having been fatally shot.
