In the fall of 2021, a verbal altercation in Lancaster, South Carolina, tragically cut short the life of 38-year-old Takeisha Massey. On Saturday, October 9, 2021, Massey was shot multiple times at a residence on Caroline Court following a dispute. First responders arrived to find her with life-threatening injuries. She was quickly transported to the Medical University of South Carolina-Lancaster hospital, but tragically succumbed to her wounds and was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
