In the early morning hours of New Year's Day in Rochester, New York, a young man's life was cut short. Preston Papalia, a 23-year-old male, was shot and killed on January 1, 2025. The incident that led to his death unfolded on Curtis Street, near Santee Street, on the city's northwest side.
