Death by Force

On January 1, 2025, 23-year-old Preston Papalia was fatally shot in Rochester, New York. The incident occurred on Curtis Street near Santee Street around 1:30 a.m. when Rochester Police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Papalia with at least one gunshot wound to the chest. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
