In the early hours of January 25, 2017, the life of 39-year-old Jasmin Rochelle Haley, an African-American woman, was tragically cut short in her Las Vegas, Nevada home. Her roommate discovered her body in their residence on Morning Mist Drive and immediately alerted the authorities. Responding officers and medical personnel pronounced her deceased at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Clark County coroner's office officially ruled her death a homicide.
