On December 11, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada, 34-year-old Schinara "Nara" Patterson was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the victims as Schinara, her daughters Ki'Ziah Cone, 14, and Zi'Myra Patterson, 6. Each died from gunshot wounds to the head, with their deaths ruled as homicides. The perpetrator, identified as 42-year-old Marvin Patterson, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with his death ruled a suicide.
