On a Tuesday night in the Bronx, 34-year-old Hispanic male Carlos Teron, a former Golden Gloves boxer and a new father, was fatally shot. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on April 15, 2025, outside 1988 Clinton Avenue. Police from the 48th Precinct responded to a 911 call and discovered Teron unconscious with a gunshot wound to his head. He was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
