In a tragic series of events that unfolded in Jackson, Mississippi, 34-year-old Antoine Perez Thomas lost his life in a brutal homicide. The grim discovery was made on March 4, 2025, when authorities responded to a call about a vehicle fully engulfed in flames on Stokes Robinson Road. After the fire was extinguished, first responders found human remains inside the vehicle, which was later identified as a stolen Honda Pilot.
The Hinds County Coroner's Office later confirmed the identity
of the victim as Antoine Thomas through DNA analysis. An autopsy subsequently revealed a more sinister cause of death than the fire alone; Thomas had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. This finding shifted the investigation from a suspicious death to a full-blown homicide, prompting a thorough inquiry by the Jackson Police Department. The vehicle he was found in had been reported stolen from a local convenience store, the K & J Foot Mart on Raymond Road, and surveillance footage from the store provided an initial lead with a photo of a possible suspect.
The investigation gained significant traction in early April when the Jackson Police Department announced the arrests of two individuals in connection with Thomas's murder. The suspects were identified as 38-year-old Jacob Falcon and his 23-year-old nephew, Levi Falcon. Both men were taken into custody and subsequently charged with murder. During questioning, the duo confessed to their involvement in the crime and implicated a third individual.
Authorities have since issued a warrant for the arrest of 35-year-old Justin Wallace, who is believed to have acted in concert with the Falcon uncle and nephew. According to police, the three men worked together to end Antoine Thomas's life. The investigation revealed that Thomas was placed in the trunk of the vehicle, which was then driven to another location and intentionally set on fire. Both Jacob and Levi Falcon made their initial court appearances where they each received a bond of $250,000.
