Alexander Clifford Whitcomb, a 37-year-old male, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. The incident occurred outside Los Diablos, a local motorcycle club, in the early hours of the morning. Omaha police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 4:15 a.m., where they discovered Whitcomb suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was immediately transported to Nebraska Medical Center, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities reported that the shooting involved multiple individuals exchanging gunfire, leading to chaos as hundreds of people fled the scene. Due to the high volume of shots fired, officers issued a call for additional support. Witnesses described hearing between 20 to 30 gunshots but noted that there had been no apparent arguments inside or outside the club prior to the incident.
Later that day, 35-year-old Alexis Joseph arrived at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound, though it remains unclear whether he was directly involved in the altercation. Omaha police expanded the crime scene area to investigate further, but as of now, no official arrests or suspects have been publicly identified. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding Whitcomb's death.
