Jacque Holbert, a 21-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, tragically lost his life early in the morning of January 20, 2019, when gunfire erupted outside his home near 38th Avenue and Burdette Street. He was asleep in one of the bedrooms when bullets penetrated the house, striking him while he lay in bed. Emergency services were dispatched just before 1:40 a.m., and Holbert was immediately transported to Nebraska Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
