Carlos Alonzo, 40, a Hispanic/Latino male, was found shot to death in the early morning hours of May 28, 2016, outside a home near 20th and Lake Streets in Omaha. Officers had been called around 2:30 a.m. to 2019 Lake Street; when they arrived, they found him dead in the front yard from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives traced the shooting to a house connected to Doloma Curtis, a 47-year-old woman whom both Alonzo and another man, Rolander L. Brown, were dating at the time.
