In the early hours of a late March morning in 2008, the life of Jefferey Lamarr Sones Snoddy, a 27-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short. On March 29, Snoddy was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a car in a north Omaha, Nebraska neighborhood. The vehicle had come to a stop after apparently hitting a curb.
