On June 23, 2019, a tragic shooting incident occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Jal Dak Kun. The incident took place near 33rd and Seward Streets, an area where Omaha Police Department (OPD) officers were on patrol. Around midnight, officers heard multiple gunshots, prompting them to respond swiftly to the scene at 3216 Seward Street.
