In the pre-dawn hours of October 29, 2025, the city of Omaha, Nebraska was once again touched by violence with the death of Leonard Jones, a 27-year-old Black/African American male. The incident unfolded in the Midtown neighborhood, near the intersection of 35th and Davenport streets, a community of young professionals and families.
