In the summer of 2014, the life of Johnny Haynes, a 59-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in his own front yard in Omaha, Nebraska. On the morning of June 18, Haynes was doing yard work at his home near 36th and Patrick Avenue when he was shot multiple times.
