In the winter of 2011, the life of Tony Dewayne Maben, a 34-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On the night of January 28th, Maben was shot and killed near 1817 North 33rd Street, marking him as the city's fourth homicide victim of the year.
