On a quiet Tuesday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 30-year-old Demetri William was tragically cut short. On February 25, 2025, while sitting in his car preparing to head to work, he was fatally shot. The incident, which unfolded shortly after 5:40 a.m. in the 2600 block of Wren Court, marked the seventh homicide in the city for the year. An unknown assailant fired multiple times through the driver's side door, striking William in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
