In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Temple Hills, Maryland, a domestic dispute turned deadly, leaving a 67-year-old man, Antonio Dillard, fatally wounded. On February 19, 2025, at approximately 11:05 p.m., police were dispatched to an apartment building in the 2600 block of Keating Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Dillard inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel provided immediate aid before rushing him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The subsequent investigation into the death of the Temple Hills man, who was identified as the boyfriend of the suspect, quickly pointed to a domestic-related incident. Detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit identified 59-year-old Shelia Robinson, also of Temple Hills, as the primary suspect in Dillard's death. Robinson was not present at the scene when authorities first arrived.
Following the shooting, a manhunt for Robinson was initiated. On the Monday following the incident, the Prince George's County Police Department's Fugitive Unit successfully located and arrested her. Robinson has since been charged with first and second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Antonio Dillard. She is currently being held at the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status as she awaits further legal proceedings. While an arrest has been made, the police have not yet released specific details about the motive or the events that transpired leading up to the deadly encounter.
