Do you know who killed Kenneth Lamont Washington in 2015? In the winter of 2015, the life of 47-year-old Kenneth Washington, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Temple Hills, Maryland. On the afternoon of January 8th, police were called to the 3100 block of Good Hope Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Washington inside his apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Early in the investigation, detectives stated that they did not believe the act was random.
The preliminary motive appeared to be robbery. Another report mentioned that Washington was found with multiple gunshot wounds on a sidewalk in the 3800 block of 28th Avenue in Temple Hills early in the morning and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.
Despite the ongoing investigation by the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit, no arrests have been made in the case. Investigators have been working to identify any suspect or suspects involved in Washington's death.
