In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve 2024, a dispute in the Algonquin neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, turned fatal, claiming the life of 29-year-old Quante Burris. The male victim was found by Metro Police at the Parkway Place Apartments in the 1600 block of South 13th Street around 4:15 a.m. with gunshot wounds. Burris was pronounced dead at the scene.
