In the quiet, early hours of February 22, 2025, a sense of unease settled over a home on Oak Grove Road in Rowan County, Kentucky. Inside, 28-year-old Nicholas Clevenger, a White male from Ezel, Kentucky, had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. A call was made to Morehead 911 at approximately 12:35 a.m. requesting an ambulance for a man who had been shot.
