In the late spring of 2023, the community of Morehead, Kentucky, was struck by the sudden and tragic loss of 14-year-old Jaxon Cole Keller. A male who had just celebrated his graduation from Rowan County Middle School, Jaxon's life was cut short on Saturday, May 27, 2023. On that morning, he was at a residence on Lakewood Drive in Morehead when he sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
