Death by Force

On Tuesday afternoon, May 13, 2025, a fatal shooting occurred in the Central City area of New Orleans at the intersection of 2nd and Clara streets. The New Orleans Police Department responded to the scene shortly before 2:21 PM where they discovered 37-year-old Pressley Reed had been shot at least once. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene.
