Death by Force

Brian Thacker, a 48-year-old man from Bloomington, Indiana, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2025. He was found with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound at a residence on the 1000 block of N Summit Street. Bloomington Police Department officers responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 10:28 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Thacker suffering from his wounds. Despite lifesaving measures, he was pronounced deceased after being transported to a nearby hospital.
