In the summer of 2022, the life of 28-year-old Tyshawn Carter was tragically cut short in Bloomington, Indiana. In the early morning hours of July 27, 2022, an argument inside the Kinser Flats Apartments escalated to fatal violence. It was there that Carter was shot in the head and killed.

The Bloomington Police Department responded to a call about a deceased person at the apartment complex at 4:50 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Carter in a bedroom with a gunshot wound. Despite medica ...
