A 24-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, Erik Johnson-Linares, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Kansas City, Kansas. The incident took place at the Terrace Pointe Apartments, where officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Johnson-Linares outside the apartment complex with multiple gunshot wounds.
