On the morning of February 20, 2025, James Brock, a 45-year-old white male, and his wife, 41-year-old Kristin Brock, were found shot to death in their bedroom at their home on Tyus Carrollton Road in Carrollton, Georgia. The couple's three children discovered their bodies and alerted authorities. Investigators determined that the weapon used in the killings was not present at the scene, leading them to classify the incident as a double homicide rather than a murder-suicide.
