Tyler Ford, a 23-year-old male student from Athens, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed on October 26, 2016, near the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Ford, who was a senior at the university, was found dead at the entrance of his apartment complex on Lovvorn Road. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when Ford answered a knock at his door.
