Nizzear NayQwuan Rodriguez, a 13-year-old African American boy, was tragically killed on August 24, 2014, in Carrollton, Georgia. Nizzear was shot while he was sleeping in his bedroom. His body was discovered by a family member the following day. The incident shocked the local community, as Nizzear was known to be a loving and happy child who enjoyed playing basketball, football, and video games. He was a student at Carrollton Junior High School and was well-liked by his peers and neighbors.
