Francisco Javier Frank Avila, a 41-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on March 29, 2015, in Cameron, Texas. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of College Street around 6:30 p.m. According to police reports, 53-year-old Ricardo Cruz Munoz of Rockdale shot Francisco Avila multiple times before fleeing the scene. Avila was pronounced dead at the scene.
